HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Barry set the tone early winning all three doubles matches, taking an early lead over Davenport to start singles
- Alleno won his match putting the Bucs up another point to make the score 2-0 for Barry,
- Loop followed by defeating Dusselberg in straight sets, Putting the Bucs one point away from clinching.
- Machado Clinched the match for Barry on court one, making the score 4-0 Barry.
- Caill fell to Calver after a close first set giving Davenport their first point of the match.
- Compoverde responded for Barry giving the Bucs their final point after winning in a tiebreaker in the third set.
- Davenport scored their final point when Constantin defeated Cavalleri in a third set tiebreaker, making the final score 5-2 Barry.
NOTEWORTHY:
- This is the first time the Bucs have played Davenport.
- With this singles win Machado is now on an eight match win streak.
