MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry University men's tennis team took on their conference rivals, the Lynn Fighting Knights, this Tuesday, Feb. 24, and defeated them 6-1 to move to a perfect regular season score of 8-0 and a conference score of 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bucs took the doubles lead as Machado and Lynch took court two in a 6-3 win.
- The Knights evened out the doubles score after defeating Kodjoed and Chapius.
- Lynn then took the doubles point with Trione and Dillon losing in a tie breaker 7-6(2).
- The Bucs started off the singles down 0-1.
- In Singles, Lynch was the first to win his match. This evened the score for Barry 1-1.
- Azoulay followed, defeating Rila 6-4, 6-2, putting the Bucs in the lead.
- Machado was the third to finish after winning the first set 6-3, then going on to win the second 7-5. This put the Bucs one point away from clinching.
- Chapius clinched the match for the Bucs with his win against Cortimiglia.
- With the win in the Bag the final two matches were Trione on court two and Kodjoed on court one.
- Trione won his match after ending the first set with a tiebreaker and finishing the second set 6-2.
- Kodjoed finished last after a close game, losing the first set and winning the second in a ten-point tie breaker 1-0(10)
