MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Men's Basketball team dropped a tough fought conference game to Rollins, 79-69, on Saturday evening from Cesar Odio Court.

SUMMARY:
- 1H - The hot hand of Deon Perry continued to roll into conference action as he kicked off the game with a knockdown three in the opening possession for the Bucs. Barry led for most of the of the half until the final two minutes. Rollins tied it up at 28-all and ended with a 6-0 run to take the lead into the break. Perry had 11 points to lead the way with help from Benitez who had eight. Barry shot better from the field at 57.1-percent to the Tars 40. - 2H - The Bucs slowly chipped away, and it was Malik Stanley who knocked down the game-tying three in a 6-0 run to make it 48-48 with 11:57 on the clock. After that point it was all Rollins and the lead stayed at six-plus. Both teams shot 51-percent from the field, the Tars once again led at attempt from the charity stripe at 19-11, making more free throws then attempted from Barry. NOTEWORTHY:
- Perry led the Bucs in offense with 29 points, his fifth 20-plus outing this year.
- Marko Šarenac picked up his seventh double-double this season with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
- He leads the SSC and is tied for 3rd nationally.
- Jose Benitez tied his season-high with 10 points off the bench.
- Gui Tesch contributed eight points and three steals.
- The Bucs outscored the Tars in the paint, 40-30, in fast break points, 20-11, and bench points 24-13.
- Barry had their second highest field goal percentage in a game this season at 54-percent, it was also the fewest amount of shots taken at 50.
