WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- It was a huge night for the Barry Men's Basketball team as Head Coach Justin Furr picks up his first career top-10 victory. The Buccaneers took down eighth-ranked Palm Beach Atlantic on the road in the Rubin Arena on Wednesday evening. The second round of Sunshine State Conference action begins with a win for Barry as they split the season series over PBA.

- 1H - As most contest begin, Deon Perry scored the first bucket for Barry. The Bucs took the initial lead and never trailed in the game. Perry went on to score the first seven points in the game as it was a 7-1 run in the first two minutes. Coming off a bench swap, the Bucs went on a 11-2 run to make it a 13 point lead. - 2H - PBA was able to erase their deficit and tie the game up at 52-all with 10:34 remaining. A 14-3 run quickly changed the pace from that point. Breno Silva had an and-one off a three-point basket make that help sparked the momentum change. Barry was able to cruise through the rest of the game, keeping it a minimum of a two possession game. Perry added 10 more points to his tally, while Silva and Jose Benitez each had seven. Novak Perovic had eight of his 14 boards in the half. NOTEWORTHY:
- Perry had a game-high 19 points, going a perfect 10-10 at the line.
- Warren and Tesch were in double figures at 12 and 11, respectively.
- 10 different Bucs put up points on the stat sheet.
- Perovic was the only player in double figures in rebounds for the game at 14.
- It is the lowest amount of points scored for PBA this season.
