TAMPA, Fla. -- In an overtime thriller, the Barry Men's Basketball team pulled off their first road win of the season. The Buccaneers knocked off Tampa for their second conference win at the Bob Martinez Center.

- Marko Šarenac got his hot hand start with the first basket of the game. He the had the first 11 of 13 points for Barry. The Bucs went on a 14-2 run to hold a steady lead early. The Spartans then went on their own 14-4 run to end the half, but Malik Stanley drained a three to make it a four-point game at the break. - 2H - After trading baskets back and forth, the game was tied at 54-54 with 10:23 remaining. Jose Benitez scored what looked to be the go-ahead free throws with 31 seconds left, but Tampa scored on their final possession with 18 seconds to send the game into overtime. - OT - The battle continued with no team taking more than a one possession lead. Tampa looked to have this one in the bag with a basket at eight-seconds. NOTEWORTHY:
- Barry is 7-0 when leading at the half.
- Šarenac had his SSC leading ninth double-double scoring 20 points and bringing down 18 boards.
- Stanley and Tarrance Warren led off the bench with 16 and 13 points, respectively.
