HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Buccaneers won the doubles point by taking flights two and three. Gabriele Felline and Tim Riedel won 6-4 at #2, while Thomas Machado and Ariel Meshulam carried court three 6-3.
- The Tars rallied back to take the top doubles match The Bucs led 4-1, but fell in a tiebreaker 7-6(5).
- Adam Lynch set the tone early in his singles match, cruising past Mo Anterist 6-2, 6-2 on court #4 to give the Bucs their second point.
- Riccardo Trione, ranked #45, followed with a clinical performance on Court #1, defeating Luke Quaynor 7-5, 6-0 in a commanding style.
- On Court #5, Ariel Meshulam held strong in a marathon second-set tiebreaker, emerging victorious with a 6-1, 7-6(12) win.
- Gabriele Felline and Tim Riedel added to the Buc lead with back-to-back tiebreaker wins in Courts 2 & 3 in their first sets, closing out in straight sets to bring the team tally to six.
- The lone point for Rollins came on Court #6, where Pietro Cappellaro edged past Leo Caill in three sets, 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.
