HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Buccaneers opened the day with a strong 6-2 win on Court #1 in doubles from Leo Caill and Adam Lynch, who defeated the top-ranked duo from Saint Leo.
- However, Saint Leo claimed the doubles point after taking Courts #2 and #3—both with aggressive net play and sharp volleys that gave them momentum heading into singles.
- Barry responded in singles with power and consistency. On Court #1, #53 Riccardo Trione stunned #9 Vincent Thiel with a commanding 6-1, 6-2 win.
- Gabriele Felline followed with a clutch 7-5, 6-4 victory on Court #2, showcasing poise and control from the baseline, giving Barry their first match lead at 2-1.
- Saint Leo grabbed a win on Court #4, where Luis Iriarte edged out Tim Riedel in two tightly contested tiebreaks, 7-6(3), 7-6(4) to tie thigs back up at two-all.
- On Court #3, #28 Yan Kodjoed won a physical three-set battle, outlasting Dylan Andrianaly 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 to give the Bucs their third point.
- Adam Lynch stepped up in a pivotal moment on Court #5, holding off Kodai Kato 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 to clinch the match for the Buccaneers.
