MELBOURNE, Fla. – Early offense led the Barry softball team to their fourth straight win. In their ninth Sunshine State series of th year, the Bucs have won their seventh series opener taking on Florida Tech on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
	- T2 | Barry put up a crooked number early and put the game away in the top of the second. Sofia Chamorro led off the inning getting hit by a pitch, then Paige White and Becka Mellor had back-to-back singles to load the bases with no outs. Brooklyn Rushton collected and RBI with an infield ground out, advancing all runners. Harper Bunn than capitalized on the inning with a two-out, three-run home run to right center to extend the lead to 4-0. | Barry 4, Florida Tech 0
- T7 | Two more runs came across the plate as Barry secured the win in the final inning with an RBI-single from Sarah Langlie and RBI-double from Chamorrro. | Barry 7, PBA 0
NOTEWORTHY:
	- Samantha Rosenberger got the start inn the circle and picked up her ninth win and sixth complete game of the season.
- The sophomore threw a two-hitter, going 3.2 innings with a no-hit bid. She gave up just two free passes and tied her career-high in strikeouts with six.
- Sarah Langlie picked up her 20th multi-hit game while riding a 15-game hitting streak. 
- Becka Mellor is right behind, riding a nine-game hitting streak. 
- Chamorro collected her 11th multi-hit game of the season.
