MELBOURNE, Fla. – The long ball leads game one, while 12 hits leads in game two, as Barry sweeps Florida Tech in the series and double-header on Saturday afternoon. The final game counted as the 100th win over the Panthers in program history. It is the second opponent in program history that Barry has defeated 100 times, Eckerd being the other. Softball has now swept five Sunshine State Conference opponents, have won their sixth game in a row, and have won seven league series.

HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME ONE):
	- T1 | Barry continues to thrive in the first inning getting on the board first. Mac Stone-Folmar sent one over the right center field fence that gave the Bucs and early advantage. | Barry 1, Florida Tech 0
- B2 | Florida Tech quickly evened the score with two leadoff singles, a sacrifice bunt, and a wild pitch leading to their first run of the game. | Barry 1, Florida Tech 1
- T4 | Three walks spread through the inning had Barry in a bases loaded situation with two outs. A fourth walk, drawn by Brooklyn Rushton gave the Buccaneers their second run and the lead. | Barry 2, Florida Tech 1
- T5 | The Buccaneers grabbed some insurance in the top of the fifth with Caroline Figueroa's solo shot to left center, her team leading sixth of the season. | Barry 3, Florida Tech 1
- B6 | The Panthers would not go away easily as they tied the game back up at three a piece in the bottom of the sixth. An RBI-double and then a bases loaded walk would make it a brand new ball game. | Barry 3, Florida Tech 3
- T7 | Harper Bunn got the offense going right back up with a lead off double down the left field line. Stone-Folmar laid down the sacrifice bunt to put the pinch runner Shelby Prevatte into scoring position. NOTEWORTHY (GAME ONE):
	- Harper Bunn had the lone multi-hit game for Barry going 2-for-4.
- The Bucs were outhit 7-5 by the Panthers.
- Three of the five hits went for extra bases with two home runs and a double.
- Alexis Martin picked up her team leading, 10th win in the circle. Martin threw four innings and striking out six.
- Haelee Angelico started the game and had a quality outing with four hits and just on earned run with thre punch outs.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME TWO):
	- T1 | The Bucs took advantage and struck first with a sacrifice bunt, wild pitch, and passed ball allowing Bunn to score after her lead off single. | Barry 1, Florida Tech 0
- B1 | Florida Tech once again answerd and tied it up at one. The Panthers scored on a first and third, as the runner on first was picked off but the runner on third scored. | Barry 1, Florida Tech 1
- T4 | A dent was put into the scoreboard in the fourth as the Bucs scored their next six runs in the top half of the inning. Sofia Chamorro got the inning going with a leadoff infield single. Paige White and Becka Mellor followed suit with singles of their own to load the bases. Chandler Barry came in to pinch hit and delivered a walk to advance all base runners. Bunn continued to find her way on base and drove in two this time with a single to right field. After a pitching change, Stone-Folmar welcome the new Panther with a bunt single, that was a perfectly executed squeeze play. A wild pitch and RBI-single from Langlie capped off the six-run inning. | Barry 7, Florida Tech 1

NOTEWORTHY (GAME TWO):
	- Bunn continued her success at the plate going 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two runs driven in.
- White and Mellor both had multi-hit games as well with two each.
- The speed on the bases showed with four stolen bases.
- Barry outhit Florida Tech 12-4 in the game. 
- Isabel Vera earned the win with four innings in relief. She gave up just one hit and struck out one.
- Samantha Rosenberger had her second appearance in the series starting and throwing three solid innings with just three hits and an earned run.

The Bucs will close out regular season and Sunshine State play with their final series at Tampa. It begins Friday, May 2 at 6:00pm.
