MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Two Barry Buccaneers were selected to the Women's Swimming Academic All-District teams this season. Diana Suprun and Taryn Will were both recognized for their outstanding work in the classroom.
Suprun*, a senior from Rishon Le Zion, Israel, carries a 3.763 GPA as a double major in psychology and management. She was a two-time Second-Team All-American in the 100 and 200 breast stroke at the 2025 NCAA Division II Championship. She was also named Third-Team All-Sunshine State Conference. She set program records in the 100 and 200 breast at the NCAA Championships.
Will, a sophomore from Maryland Heights, Mo., has a 3.713 GPA in exercise physiology. She posted second-place finishes in the 200 butterfly against both St. Thomas and Keiser and fourth place in the 200 freestyle against Oberlin.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-District® teams require players to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA as both a undergraduate and graduate student, as well as competing in at least five competitions or finishing top eight at a conference meet.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists, denoted with an asterisk*, advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 23, 2025.
The Division II CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II Academic All-America® programs.
