- The Buccaneers dropped their first doubles match but battled back to claim a 6-4 victory in Doubles #2 and a 7-5 victory in Doubles #3.
- Gabriele Felline won his first set 3-0 before winning due to opponent retirement.
- Riccardo Trione faced the 27th-ranked player Aleksandr Kalinin and defeated him in a straight-set sweep, 6-4, 6-3.
- #25 Yan Kodjoed fought hard against Luis Francisco Sampe, winning his tightly contested match, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.
- Ariel Meshulam made his singles season debut but unfortunately lost his match to the #21-ranked player Andoni Garmendia, 0-6, 4-7
