ST. LEO, Fla. – Barry University falls in a softball double-header against Saint Leo in their return to Sunshine State Conference action. This is the first sweep of the Bucs this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED (Game One):
- B1 | The Lions would put up the first and only run of the game in their first at bats. An infield single would turn around and end up with a base runner on third off an errant throw from the catcher. A two-out single through the right side scored the runs. | Barry 0, Saint Leo 1
NOTEWORTHY (Game One):
- Both teams were held to four hits.
- Barry left eight runners on the bases to Saint Leo's three.
- Brooklyn Rushton has the lone extra base hit in the game for either team with a double.
- Haelee Angelico went the distance and took the loss with one unearned run allowed and just four hits.
- The Bucs struck out nine time to the Lions zero.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game Two):
- B2 | Saint Leo struck first for the third time this series. A two-out rally was put together with four singles in the inning to score their three runs. | Barry 0, Saint Leo 3
- T3 | Barry put two runs on the board to cut their deficit to one. Paige White led off the inning with.a walk. Maggie Boyd then singled through the left side. Mya Tucker moved both base runners over with a sacrifice bunt. A two-out single from Sarah Langlie drove them both in. | Barry 2, Saint Leo 3
- B3 | SLU scratched for one of those runs back in the bottom half, off a bases loaded sacrifice fly. | Barry 2, Saint Leo 4

- T6 | The Bucs started the inning with back two back singles from Langlie and Caroline Figueroa. With two outs Sofia Chamorro put the ball in play and Barry capitalized off an error to score a run. | Barry 3, Saint Leo 5
- B6 | Saint Leo put up another run in the bottom of the sixth to maintain their three-run lead with a bases loaded walk. | Barry 3, Saint Leo 6
NOTEWORTHY (Game Two):
- This is the first series Barry drops in SSC action.
- SLU left eight on base to Barry's six.
- Sarah Langlie and Mac Stone-Folmar collected multi-hit games.
- The Bucs had six strikeouts to the Lions two.
- Four different Buccaneers threw a pitch in the contest. Each gave up a hit and run.

The Bucs will return home with a non-conference double header against Flagler on Wednesday, March 19 with the first game starting at 2:00 p.m.
