Baseball Falls Twice To Mocs On Saturday

LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers were swept in their Sunshine State Conference baseball series with the sixth-ranked Florida Southern Moccasins, losing 13-8 and 11-10 in the doubleheader at Henley Field on Saturday.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Brandon Jung (2-1) worked seven innings in game one for the win. He allowed four runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks.
  • Alex Brown (0-1) gave up two runs on two hits in two-thirds of an inning to take the loss.
  • Colby Rice (1-0) worked the last two innings in game two to get the win. He allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks.
  • Jack Ensell (2-1) allowed three runs on four hits in the ninth to take the loss. 

ON THE HORIZON:

The Bucs return home to take on the Assumption Greyhounds on Wednesday and Thursday next week.
