MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers got back on track with a win on Parent's Day on Saturday afternoon from Feinbloom Field.

- T1 - The Flying Fleet struck first. Joesean Sanchez doubled to lead off the game and scored on a single by Jude Littrell. | Erskine 1, Barry 0
- B4 - Barry took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Nick Toms led off with a single and Savi Delgado was hit by a pitch. Both advanced on a wild pitch and scored on a single by Joe Wike. | Barry 2, Erskine 1
- B5 - The Bucs tacked on three runs in the fifth. Kendry Noriega walked to lead off and quickly stole second. He went to third on an infield hit by Murchael Turner. The runners executed a double steal, with Noriega coming home. Delgado ripped a single through the left side to score Turner and Felix Diaz, who had reached on a fielder's choice, scored ahead of a base hit by Matthew Menendez. | Barry 5, Erskine 1
- T6 - The Fleet trimmed the lead in the top of the sixth, scoring once on a double play and another run on a single by Wilder Puertas. | Barry 5, Erskine 3
- B6 - The Bucs go one run back in the bottom of the inning. Wike singled and stole second and scored on a base hit by Harry Vargas Seguera. | Barry 6, Erskine 3
- T9 - Erskine tried to rally in the ninth. Puertas singled to start the inning and Kort McLean came in to run. Pinch hitter Matt Layton got his first hit of the season, a double that hit high off the wall in right-center, to score McLean. But Dalton Willimans came in and struck out Dylan Wanat and go Littrell to ground into a double play to lock down the save for the Bucs. | Barry 6, Erskine 4
NOTEWORTHY:
- Benito Valle-Jhanda (2-0) worked five innings in his second start to earn the win. He allowed three runs on four hits and five walks and struck out two.
- Jack Ensell pitched three innings, allowing the run in the ninth.
- Williams picked up his second save of the season with a scoreless ninth.
- Roman Edwards (0-2) took the loss for the Fleet. He gave up two runs on three hits and two walks, while hitting four batters and struck out four in 3.2 innings.
- Wike had two hits and drove in two runs to lead the Bucs' offense.
- Sanchez and Puertas each had two hits for the Fleet.
- Buccaneer Athletics celebrated Parents Day at the yard.
