MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost their first game of the season 7-2 to the Bentley Falcons at Feinbloom Field on Friday night.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Eich (0-1), who settled down after a rough first inning, took the loss for the Bucs. In five innings, he allowed just the one run on one hit and struck out seven, but walked six.
- Pat Heber (1-0) pitched seven scoreless innings in his first start of the season. He allowed two hits and two walks and struck out seven.
- Barry's bullpen combined to give up six runs on five hits, including two homers, struck out five, walked one and hit two.
- Noriega had two of the Bucs three hits.
- The three hits were the fewest for the Buccaneers since a 17-2 loss to Saint Leo last season.
