MIAMI SHORES, Fla. — Barry men's volleyball gets back on track with a sweep of Warner from the Health and Sports Center on Friday evening. The Bucs take the home and home series for the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set One - All the energy was on the side of the Buccaneers in their return home. Philip Tein scored the first point with a kill. Barry held the lead from point one to point 25. It was a dominant set that saw the Bucs hitting .313 while the defense forced a -.038 from Warner. The offense had 14 kills to the Royals six.| Barry 25, Warner 15
- Set Two - After Warner scored the first point, Barry came through to score the next three. Ryan Uridel and William Phinizy recorded kills. Philip Tein had the cherry on top with a service ace. Warner attack errors would help the Bucs advantage. After a five point advantage at 20-15, the Royals attempted a late comeback scoring three straight to bring it within two. Both teams traded points, a service error for Warner would give the Bucs a 2-0 match lead. Uridel and William Phinizy led the way with five and four kills, respectively, in the set. | Barry 25, Warner 22
- Set Three - Barry had to fight for the final set, working from behind for the majority of it. It was looking like a fourth set was brewing when the score was 22-16, Warner. Tein then had two massive kills to force a Royals timeout and bring the set within three. Uridel laid down the hammer and keep the foot on the gas with a kill off the timeout to make it 22-20. The biggest block of the game came with the triple wall of Chris Rivero, Uridel, and Phinizy to tie things up at 24-all. Back to back forced errors would give Barry the set and match win. | Barry 27, Warner 25
NOTEWORTHY:
- William Phinizy had double-digit kills for the third time in his career, with 11. He also led the team in digs with eight.
- Uridel had a career high nine kills, he also contributed on three blocks.
- Tristan Blake had 27 assists in the match to lead the offense.
- The 39 team kills is the second most in a 3-set match in Bucs short history.
- The offensive efficiency held true with just 12 attacking errors, second least on the year and the least in a 3-set match. Hitting .276 was the second best percentage overall.
- Barry led in kills 39-29, blocks 7-4, and assist 34-28.
