MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Barry University seniors Audrey Jennings and Aijah Palmore swept the Sunshine State Conference women's basketball player of the week awards, as presented by Pollo Campero.

Jennings, a 5-9 guard, collects her third SSC Player of the Week award this season by leading Barry to road wins over Saint Leo and Florida Tech. The Elkin, N.C., native had a game-high 24 points, six rebounds, and two steals in Barry's 82-61 win against Saint Leo. Jennings then tallied a game-high 18 points, four rebounds, and four steals as Barry won 88-58 over Florida Tech. The senior totaled 42 points by shooting 48 percent from the field (16-0f-33), 44 percent from behind the arc (4-of-9), and was perfect from the free-throw line (6-of-6). Jennings averaged 21.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 1.0 assists while playing 35.5 minutes per game.

Palmore was named Defensive Player of the Week totaled 17 defensive boards during Barry's 2-0 road trip. The Greensboro, N.C., native began the week with eight defensive rebounds, a steal, and a block in an 82-61 win at Saint Leo. She followed with nine defensive rebounds, a steal, and a block in an 88-58 win at Florida Tech. Offensively, the senior recorded 21 points and seven offensive rebounds for the Buccaneers last week.

The Bucs improved to 15-8, 8-7 in the SSC and have a bye on Wednesday before hosting the Florida Southern Moccasins on Saturday on Cesar Odio Court.
