HOW IT HAPPENED:

Being down 24-22 the Bucs fended off set point with Veronika Eremeeva picking up a kill. Erika Spankus ended the set with back to back kills and gave NSU the 2-1 match lead. Eremeeva went six for eight in the set and hit .750. | NSU 27, Barry 25
  • Set Four - For the first time in the match the Sharks picked up the first point in the set. At 16-16, the Bucs had a three point run that would be enough of a gap to take the set and force a winner take all fifth set. Kozlova had 10 kills in the set to lead the way. Osychenko took all 20 serve receptions in the set and passed them successfully without getting aced. | Barry 25, NSU 23
  • Set Five - A Shark error and solo block from Osychenko gave Barry a two-point edge at 5-3. Two big blocks came from Ester Pushkarov with the help of Kozlova to put the lead at 11-5. Nova Southeastern had a slight comeback, but Kozlova put it away to end the match the way it started. | Barry 15, NSU 11
