LAKELAND, Fla. – The Barry Women's Cross Country teams traveled to Holloway Park for the 2025 Sunshine State Conference championship race on Saturday morning. The Bucs finished seventh out of nine competing teams and dropped seven seconds as a whole from their conference outing last year.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Sierra Espinoza was the top finisher for Barry for the second meet in a row.
- Espinoza dropped a full minute for a personal best which was the same meet last year, and has the fastest time since the program's return in 2023.
- Boyle shaved off a minute and 18 seconds from her personal best hit at the Bobcat Invitational earlier this season. She ran two-minutes faster than last season's championship meet.
- Perez dropped 42-seconds from her personal best hit earlier this season as well at the FSU XC Invite. She has dropped two minutes from when she first ran the SSC race in 2023.
- Hope Brittenham soared to a new personal best with a 26:09.7 time. She dropped 37 seconds from her career-best and a minute and 29 seconds from her time last season.
- Jaelynn Rosario hit a new PR in her first conference race dropping 1:16 in her time, going 26:12.6.
- Rachel Crandell ran a season best 26:53.3, dropping 48-seconds.
- Arianna Garrisi also made her SSC debut and hit a new PR with the biggest drop on the women's side lowering it three-minutes at 30:52.7.
- As a team, the total time dropped seven seconds.

Barry will rest and get ready for the NCAA Regional meet taking place on Nov. 8 heading right back up to Holloway Park.
