MELBOURNE, Fla. — Perfection continues for the Barry Volleyball team as they finish non-conference action unblemished. The Buccaneers swept Flagler in a neutral site match up Friday afternoon from the Clemente Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
	- Set One - Petra Brkicic set the early tone opening the match with a service ace. Barry opened the scoring and had a lead at 10-4 before Flagler creeped back into the contest and took the lead on an 8-0 run. After eight ties and four lead changes, the Bucs capitalized on two Saints' service errors to take the first set. | Barry 25, Flagler 22
 
	- Set Two - Both teams traded points until Flagler broke off a four-point run to take a 15-12 lead. Kills from Brkicic and Varvara Osychenko had the set tied up at 18-all. Diana Akopova locked in for four kills in the last seven points for Barry to come from behind and take the set. | Barry 25, Flagler 21
 
	- Set Three - The final set was complete dominance from the Buccaneers' offense. Barry hit .424 scoring 16 kills on 33 attempts with just two attacking errors. | Barry 25, Flagler 14
 
NOTEWORTHY:
	- The defense has limited opponent kills with 18 of 21 sets being in single digits.
 
	- Barry is 7-0 with seven straight sweeps for the third time in program history.
 
	- This is the fourth time in program history the Bucs have started the season 7-0.
 
	- Barry has recorded the first point in 17 of 21 sets this season.
 
	- Akopova led the way with 19 kills and eight digs.
 
	- Osychenko and Veronika Eremeeva were right behind tallying up nine and eight kills, respectively.
 
	- Osychenko was one kill and one dig away from her second double-double of the season.
 
	- Gaia Riedmuller had 12 digs; her fifth double-digit dig match this season.
 
	- This was the season-high for Barry in digs with 51 as a team.
 
ON THE HORIZON:
Barry will head into Sunshine State Conference action next week, starting with a road match up against Palm Beach Atlantic. First serve is schedule for Tuesday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. from the Rubin Arena.
