TAMPA, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost both ends of the Saturday doubleheader to the top-ranked Tampa Spartans in their Sunshine State Conference baseball series at UT Baseball Field. Tampa took game one 7-3 and took the finale x-x.

- T6 - Bary broke through in the sixth. Delgado walked with two outs and scored ahead of an Sean Shelly double. | Tampa 5, Barry 1

NOTEWORTHY:
- Skylar Gonzalez (12-0) improved to 12-0 with seven innings work. He allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk and struck out just one.
- Anthony Bennetti (0-4) took the loss in game one for the Bucs, despite allowing only one earned run.
- Jake Stipp (5-0) went five scoreless innings to get the win for Tampa in the finale. He walked five, but gave up just two hits.
- Joe Morrisey (4-4) went 5.1 innings, but allowed five runs (three earned) on eight hits and two walks.
- Delgado was 3-for-4 in the twin bill, scoring three runs.
- Noriega was 3-for-8, including a homer, with two runs and two RBI.
- Cumbo led Tampa with four hits.
