MIAMI SHORES, FLA. - Highlighted by a season-high 13-run showing in the opening game of Saturday's Sunshine State Conference doubleheader, the Barry University softball team swept Lynn on Cassandra Lee's senior day by scores of 13-1 and 4-0,

HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 1) NOTEWORTHY (GAME 1)
  • Lee went 2-2 with two RBI and one run scored.
  • Thompson went 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored.
  • Rushton went 1-3 with two runs scored.
  • Toledo went 1-2 with two RBI and two runs scored.
  • Maci Barnhart tossed five innings with one run allowed off four hits while striking out four batters.
  • For Lynn, Potevin went 2-2 while Pricket earned the loss after allowing the initial four runs.
