MIAMI SHORES, Fla. --  Barry women's basketball lost 64-52 to the #19 Tampa Spartans at Cesar Odio Court on Saturday afternoon. Chiara Fusari, Ana Gascon and Holly Davies were all honored.

SUMMARY:

• 1Q - The Bucs got out to a quick start, going up 10-2. The Spartans rallied back by scoring ten straight to end the quarter. | Tampa 12, Barry 10
• 2Q - The Spartans took a ten point lead with 5:23 left in the quarter. A Kayla Lindsey layup cut the lead to eight, but the Spartans maintained a lead of 12 going into the half.  | Tampa 34, Barry 22
• 3Q - The Spartans came out of halftime taking a 15 point lead after a Ramsey three-pointer with 9:15 left in the period. The Spartans continued their momentum, going up 21 with 4:53 to go. The Bucs cut the lead down to 13 with 1:54 left but the Spartans kept a 17 point advantage going into the fourth.  | Tampa 52, Barry 35
• 4Q - The Bucs cut the lead down to eleven after a Fusari three-pointer. The Bucs were never able to get the lead below ten and Spartans secured a victory.  | Tampa 64, Barry 52

NOTEWORTHY:

• Lauren Livingston (12) and Audrey Jennings (10) were the lone Bucs to score in double figures. 
• The Spartans had 13 free-throw attempts compared to the Bucs four attempts. 
• Barry made seven three-pointers (7-28) and the Spartans made four (4-13). 
• Aijah Palmore (7) and Andreonia Doe (7) led Barry in rebounds.
• Tampa totaled 34 points in the paint compared to the Bucs 20.

The Bucs will travel to Daytona Beach, FL to take on Embry-Riddle on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 pm.
