INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The No. 2 ranked, No. 1 seeded Barry Buccaneers men's tennis defeated the No. 3 ranked, No. 3 seeded Saint Leo Lions 4-3 to secure their second ITA Indoor National Championship as a program on Sunday evening at the Uindy Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lions got out to an early 1-0 lead after securing the doubles point at No. 1 and 2 doubles.
- The Bucs were able to get wins at singles No. 1, 3, 4 and 5.
- The Lions secured victories at singles No. 2 and 6.
- With the match tied at 3-3 and a champion yet to be crowned, B. Rieme came back down a set, to defeat Iriarte at singles No. 5 in a three-setter to secure the championship for the Bucs.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs win their second overall ITA Indoor Championship, their first came in 2022 when they defeated Columbus State.
- This is the Bucs fourth time playing in the ITA National Indoor Championships, winning the title two of the years (2022, 2024).
- Both David and Bastien Rieme remain undefeated on the year in singles.
- The Bucs compiled wins against the No. 8, 6 and 3 nationally ranked teams in the past three days.

The Bucs will come back home to host St. Thomas on Tuesday Feb. 20 at the Buccaneer Tennis Center.
