Miami Shores, Fla - Despite a balanced effort by the men's basketball team on Saturday afternoon with every Buccaneer that saw the court score a basket, a late run by Florida Tech propelled the visitors to a 72-62 result.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- 1H | Trailing early 8-4, Barry used an 8-0 run to flip the four-point lead at 12-8 with 13:28 left in the opening half. Florida Tech knoted the score behind four-straight points, reclaiming the lead at 16-15 before the Bucs scored 16 of the ensuing 20 points to boast a double-digit lead at 31-20 with 4:04 remaining in the first half. The visitors cut into the lead with a 5-0 run, with Barry scoring a basket in the final minute while FIT connected on one free throw to create a 33-25 halftime score.
- 2H | Florida Tech scored the opening basket of the second half via a triple, with the two sides trading two-point possessions before back-to-back Barry baskets made it 39-30 with 16:42 left to play. Barry was held without a run of consecutive baskets over the ensuing six minutes, with Florida Tech taking the lead during the stretch at 44-43 before an 8-0 Bucs' run created a 51-44 score with 8:39 remaining.
