NOTEWORTHY:
- Joe Morrisey (1-0) got touched for three runs (two earned) on four hits in the first inning, but settled down to hold the Bobcat scoreless over the next five innings. He allowed six hits and three walks and struck out nine.
- Vermillion (0-1) took the loss for the Bobcats, giving up four runs on four hits and two walks in two-thirds of an inning.
- Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI.
- Noriega and Bruno each had three hits.
- Kiple, Estrada and Probst each had two hits to lead the Bobcats.
