LAKELAND, Fla. --  Barry women's basketball fell 74-71 to the Florida Southern Moccasins on Saturday in Jenkins Fieldhouse.

• 1Q - The Mocs jumped out to an 11-point lead after the first five minutes and held a 10-point lead at the break.  | FSC 10, Barry 10
• 2Q - The Bucs used a 6-0 run to start the second period to cut the lead to four. Florida Southern pulled back in front by seven on a layup by Dakota Daniello with 3:35 left in the period. But the Bucs closed the half on a 9-2 run to knot the game at 33-33.  | Barry 33, FSC 33
• 3Q - With FSC leading 40-35 after a three-pointer by Arielle Dabu with 8:00 left in the period, Barry pulled off an 11-0 run over the next three minutes, capped by a layup by Britney Mapang.  The Bucs hled a narrow two-point lead hading into the last frame.  | Barry 53, FSC 51
• 4Q - With the game tied up 64-64 heading into the last two minutes, the Mocs scored five straight to take a lead. Anna Denes hit three free throws with 0:07 left to put the Mocs up by six, although Audrey Jennings hit a triple at the buzzer for the final margin.  | FSC 74, Barry 71

NOTEWORTHY:

• Britney Mapang scored a season-high 15 points in the loss, and added nine rebounds.
• Chiara Fusari led the Bucs with 21 points. 
• Jennings had 18 points, all in the second half.
• Denes led FSC with 22 points, while Dabu had 16.
• Aijah Palmore had 14 rebounds to led Barry to a 42-33 edge on the glass.
