- 1H - Gabe Hernandez got the first bucket of the early season drilling a three-pointer from an offensive board by Ga'Khari Lacount. Malik Stanley started tilting momentum to the Barry side with a triple of his own that gave the Bucs their first lead at 23-20. - 2H - Stanley had early free-throws to cut into the lead, but his lone efforts were not enough to stick through the half. Althought a better offensive showing for the Bucs, the Falcons outscored them by seven in the half to expand their lead. | Montevallo 51, Barry 44
NOTEWORTHY:
- Stanley had a game-high 28 points to lead all scorers. He also was perfect at the line going 6-6 and shooting 50-percent from the field.
- Hernandez was right behind with 21-points with 8-8 from the charity stripe and 55-percent from the field.
- The score was tied 10 different times in the first half before Montevallo took the final lead.
