MIAMI SHORES, Fla. — Another three-set sweep collects in the win column for the Barry Volleyball team as they pick up their 21st win of the season from the Health & Sports Center on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set One - The match opened up with a 4-0 run, highlighted by three service aces in a row from Veronika Eremeeva. Thre freshmen scored four of the first six points, closing out the set with five kills and nine points. A 3-0 run forced a Sailfish timeout and extended the lead for BU 16-11. - Set Two - After trailing 3-0, Eremeeva got the Bucs going with the first kill of the set. Six straight points gave Barry their first lead of the set at 8-4, and they never looked back. Diana Akopova took full control of the set with 12 kills, 13.5 points, adding three blocks and six digs. The Bucs found a way to look in and close it out to take a two-set advantage into set three. | Barry 25, Palm Beach Atlantic 21
- Set Three - To no surprise, Eremeeva started the set in service and picked up another ace in just the second point. This tallied four for the match, and she was the only Bucs to record the stat this match. Barry put together a 6-0 run after trading early points to add cushion to their lead at 12-4. NOTEWORTHY:
- The 11 blocks is the ninth time the Bucs have recorded double-digit blocks in a match this season.
- Barry dominated in every statistical category 63-36 in points, 48-28 in kills, 4-3 in service aces, 11-5 in blocks, 47-28 in assists, and 41-33 in digs.
- Akopova had a match-high 23-kills hitting .452, with 10 digs, and four blocks. This is her sixth double-double of the season.
- Ivana Žujovic had seven blocks for the match-high.
- Gaia Riedmüller led the match-high with 18-digs.
- The Bucs are 45-17 in set wins in SSC play this season.
- The defense did not allow one Sailfish player to be in double-digits in kills, while forcing them to hit .095.

Barry returns to the Health & Sports Center for back-to-back matches on Friday and Saturday against Embry-Riddle and Rollins, respectively.
