MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers routed the Florida National Conquistadors 100-70 on Cesar Odio Court to open the home portion of the women's basketball schedule on Wednesday night.

- 1Q - Barry led wire-to-wire, opening the game with a 21-6 run. Janelisse Marrero tried to keep the Conqs in the game, scoring all 11 of their points in the period. But Barry's Audrey Jenning responded with 10 of her own and the Bucs out shot FNU 55.6 to 15.4 from the floor. | Barry 29, FNU 11
- 2Q - Leading by 17, 31-14, with 8:54 left in the second, Barry ran off 16-3 over the next six minutes to push the lead to 30, 47-17 on a jumper by Kaliyah Morales. - 3Q - After shooting only 24 percent from the floor in the first half, the Conquistadors went 8-for-10 in the third period, but were only able to trim five points off the Bucs' lead. - 4Q - The Conqs cut five more points off the lead in the fourth quarter as the Bucs went deep into their bench with the big lead. Sanaya Shrader led Barry with five points. Kornelia Ignerska drained a three-pointer with 0:49 seconds to put the Bucs to the century mark. | Barry 100, FNU 70
NOTEWORTHY:
- Jennings led all scorers with 24 points, hitting 7-of-12 from the field and 7-of-8 from the line. It was the third time in three games that the senior has paced the squad.
- Although Jennings was the only Buccaneer in double figures, 15 different players scored in the game, including nine each from Morales and Kyrstin Green and eight from Kayla Lindsey.
- Marrero led three from FNU in double figures with 20 points, and added a game-high 11 rebounds.
- Kyla Cruz Baez had 18, including 15 in the second half, while Kaylee Llanos added 17 points.
- Despite Marrero's efforts, the Bucs dominated the glass again, out-rebounding FNU 52-28, including 25-5 on the offensive end.
- Looking at the breakdown, Barry out-scored the Conquistadors 44-28 in the paint, 37-15 off turnovers, 18-9 on second-chance points, 22-4 on the fast break and 48-23 off the bench.
- Barry shot 38 free throws in the game, making 23. The 38 attempts are tied for ninth in program history with a Jan. 20, 2001 game against Tampa.
- The last time Barry topped 100 points was last year against the Conquistadors in a 103-42 win.
