AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The Barry Buccaneers hammered the Vulcans of California (Pa.) 13-6 at Lake Mrytle Park on Tuesday as part of the RussMatt Baseball Classic.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Sebastian Garrido (1-1) worked three shutout innings as part of the split game for Barry to earn the win. He allowed two walks and two hits and struck out three.
- Jaret Muckley (2-1) was tagged with the loss for the Vulcans. In 1+ inning of work, he allowed four runs on four hits and fout walks. He was lifted after allowing Sanchez's homer to lead off the second.
- The Bucs set a school record with 18 walks in the game, besting the mark of 16 set Feb. 5, 1998 at Nova Southeastern and tied twice: against Bridgeport (Mar. 15, 1998) and University of the Sciences (Mar. 6, 2020).
- Stella tied the individual mark with four free passes, one of 16 times a Buc has met the mark, including Justin Lamazares against St. Thomas on Mar. 21, 2017.
- Maceda and Wickeri drew three walks each.
- Delgado led the Bbucs with three hits and three runs. Maceda also scored three times.
- Noriega hd a double, triple and three RBI. Wickeri also drove in three.
- Sanchez was 2-for-2 with a homer and scored three runs.
