WINTER PARK, Fla. -- Barry baseball saw its nine-game winning streak snapped with a 5-3 loss to the eighth-ranked Rollins Tars at Alfond Stadium on Friday night.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Federico Zapata (1-2) took the loss for the Bucs. Prior to the ninth, he had worked two innings, allowing one hit and striking out one. But he gave up hits, including Smith's homer, to the two batters he faced in the ninth.
- Tate Stone-Frisina (5-0) tied Barry starter Mike Reagan for the conference lead in the wins. He worked 3.2 shutout innings in relief of starter Edward Berry. He allowed three hits and struck out two.
- Forchic continued his hot hitting, going 2-for-4 with a solo homer.
- Joe Stella also delivered two hits for the Bucs.
