(March 18, 2023) -- The Barry University softball team lost both games of a doubleheader at Lynn University, 5-4 in eight innings and 5-0, at McCusker Complex in Boca Raton, Florida, on Saturday afternoon. The Fighting Knights used a series of great defensive plays, timely hits and dominant pitching to sweep the doubleheader as Aymee Godmaire hit a walk-off single in game one and Haley Fardanesh tossed a shutout in game two. Lynn moved to 17-15 overall and 7-5 in the Sunshine State Conference and Barry dropped to 20-16 overall and 6-6 in league play.
