MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (Sunday, March 12, 2023) -- The Barry University softball team swept Caldwell University, 4-0 and 4-2, in a non-league matchup at Buccaneer Field in Miami Shores, Florida. The teams were meeting on the diamond for the first time since the series began on March 10, 2020, when they split a twin bill on the Buccaneer campus a day before the pandemic ended all play Haelee Angelico (W, 3-4) had a complete-game shutout in the opener today with 10 strikeouts. Maci Barnhart (W, 7-6) took the circle in game two and worked five innings for the victory.

- T1: Courtney Grundhauser reached on a bunt single up the first-base line with one out. Maya Rodriguez singled to right field and advanced to second on the throw while Grundhauser took third.
