• B1: The Bucs got solo homers from Savi Delgado and Evan Wickeri in the first inning. | Barry 2, STAC 0
• B3: Braden Forchic and Wickeri led off with back-to-back doubles and Wickeri scored on a sacrifice fly by Joe Stella. | Barry 4, STAC 0
• B8: Sean Shelly blasted a solo homer over the batter's eye in center field with one out. One out later, Matthew Menendez and Jarrett May walked and Menendez scored on a base hit by Jake Ogden. | Barry 6, STAC 0

NOTEWORTHY:

• Frank II Gonzalez (2-1) turned in a quality start for the Bucs, tossing six shutout innings on just three hits and two walks, while striking out four.
• Federico Zapata tossed the last three innings to earn his third save. he gave up two hits and struck out two.
• John Archer (0-2) took the loss for the Spartans. He gave up four runs (three earned) on five hits in 3.0 innings. 
• Wickeri led the Bucs at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a homer, double, two runs and two RBI.
• Delgado and Ogden each had two hits.

ON THE HORIZON:

The Buccaneers' home stand continues with a twi-night split doubleheader with the junior varsity team against the Post Eagles on Monday, Mar. 13. The JV game starts at 1:00 pm, with the varsity nightcap at 6:00 pm.
