MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers soared 23-7 over the Post Eagles on Monday night, tying the mark for the biggest win of the year for the second time in three days, in non-conference baseball action at Feinbloom Field.

- B1: Barry pushed across seven runs on only three hits in the first inning of Eagle starter Nico Gaudio (0-1). Sean Shelly and Steven Nitch eac had two-run singles, and Savi Delgado drove in one with a base hit. NOTEWORTHY:
- Angel Cespedes (3-1) worked five innings, allowing three runs on nine hits, while striking out eight, to earn the win.
- Gaudio was tagged with the loss after surrendering 16 runs (14 earned) on eight hits, four walks and five hit batsmen in 2+ innings.
- The Bucs pounded out 17 hits, including three doubles and four homers, but took advantage of 10 walks and six hit batsmen to roll up the largest run total in six years.
- The last time the Bucs scored as many runs was a 23-6 win over Tuskegee on Feb. 18, 2017.
- Delgado, Maceda and Nitch all had three hits on the night.
- Maceda and May each scored four runs, while Delgado and Nitch each drove in six. The last player to drive in as many runs was Ramon Valdez against Embry-Riddle on Mar. 11, 2016.
- The six RBI ties for the ninth highest total in program history. The 12 RBI by teammates was one shy of the record of 13 set by Fausto Faraldo (9) and Radford Welch (4) against Dominican in 2005.
- The 16-run win tied the mark set in the season opener against Lane (16-0) and tied on Saturday in a 17-1 win over Adelphi, for the biggest margin of victory on the year.
