HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- Set 1 - Trailing early 6-3 in the opening set, the Bucs used a 5-0 run to take an 8-6 advantage before Florida Southern reclaimed the lead at 11-9 behind a 4-0 spree and kept the lead for the duration of the frame.
- Set 2 - Florida Southern responded to a Barry point with back-to-back tallies to flip the one-point lead, holding the Bucs to only one run greater than two during the stanza via a 3-0 rally that made it 14-11 midway through the frame.
- Set 3 - After splitting the initial 18 points of the final set, Florida Southern scored three-straight to pull ahead 12-9. Barry cut the deficit down to one behind back-to-back points, responding to a FSC point with one of their own to maintain the separation before runs of 4-0 and 5-0 sandwiching two Barry points created a 22-14 score.
