Isabella Rangel established a new career-high on Saturday afternoon while
Fiona Baker and
Jeyhlen Thomas each assisted on three blocks in the Barry University volleyball team's 3-0 (26-24, 25-16, 25-19) setback at Eckerd College.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set 1 - After splitting the opening 22 points of the contest, Barry used.a 4-0 run to pull ahead 15-11 and held onto the lead until a late 7-0 run by Eckerd forced set point at 24-23. Barry knotted the score on the ensuing play before back-to-Back Tritons' points ended the set.
- Set 2 - Barry jumped out to an early 4-0 advantage before an 8-0 run by Eckerd propelled them to a 12-8 lead and a 7-0 spree extending the deficit to 19-12.
- Set 3 - After trading the lead five times over the opening 17 points of the third frame, Eckerd scored five-straight to pull ahead 13-9 and held onto the lead for the duration of the contest.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Rangel anchored the defense behind a career-high 14 digs.
- Diana Akopova chipped in 10 kills and 10 digs on top of a solo block.
- Varvara Osychenko paced the offense with 18 kills while adding six digs.
- Baker dished out 27 assists with seven digs and three assisted blocks.
- Jeyhlen Thomas assisted on three blocks.
- Both sides recorded 44 digs.
