MIAMI SHORES, FL. - Highlighted by a third-set that say the Barry University volleyball team tie for the fourth-most points in NCAA DII history on Tuesday evening, the Buccaneers dropped a 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 35-37, 25-15) Sunshine State Conference matchup against Nova Southeastern University.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
	- Set 1 - Barry used a 4-0 run with the score tied at 4-4 to take the early led and held onto the advantage until a 6-1 run propelled the Sharks to a 21-19 edge. The Bucs rallied to tie the score at 21-all, only for a 4-0 NSU run ending the stanza.
- Set 2 - Nova jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and led the entire second set, responding to a Barry rally that knotted the score at 23-all with back-to-back points.
- Set 3 - Barry overcame a late 5-0 run by the Sharks that gave them their first lead of the third set at 19-18 with back-to-back points to flip the one-point lead at 21-20. Barry served for the set at 24-23, and fended off five match points to force a fourth set.
- Set 4 - Nova scored nine of the initial 10 points of the fourth set and never trailed during the final frame.
NOTEWORTHY:
	- Varvara Osychenko rewrote her personal record book behind a 25 kill, 19 dig showing.
- Diana Akopova added 18 kills.
- Fiona Baker dished out 45assists with 14 digs and three service aces.
- Ana Perezchipped in 15 digs.
- Ivana Zujovic tallied three solo blocks with one assisted block.
- Barry is 2-0 this season when eclipsing 30 points in a set, besting Tampa 33-31 on Sept. 22.
- Barry held a 71-66 advantage in digs.
