MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Several Sunshine State Conference athletic events involving the Barry Buccaneers have been postponed due to Hurricane Ian this week.

The 19th-ranked volleyball team's matches at Eckerd on Sept. 30 and at #5 Tampa on Oct. 1 have been postponed due to those schools closing in the face of the on-coming storm. Make-up dates are still to be determined.

The conference leading men's soccer team's home game against the Rollins Tars scheduled for Oct. 1 has also been postponed with the make-up date still to be determined. Their game against Flagler on Oct. 4 has also been canceled and will not be re-scheduled.

Women's soccer was also scheduled to play 24th-ranked Rollins on the road in Winter Park, Fla. That game has been postponed until 3:00 pm on Oct. 28.
