MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The approach of Hurricane Irma has thrown a wrench into the schedule for Barry University Athletics for the coming week.
Barry University announced that effective at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, all University operations will be closed. All University operations — including St. Croix, Bahamas, Orlando and all other Barry locations throughout the State — will be closed Thursday and Friday and will remain so until further notice.
All university-sponsored athletic events scheduled from Sept. 6 through Sept. 10 have been canceled until further notice. Events affected include, but are not necessarily limited to:
