MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Senior midfielder Daniel Schaal was named the Sunshine State Conference men's soccer offensive player of the week for Sept. 12-18.

Schaal led the Bucs to a 2-0 week in conference play, with eight points in the Barry wins last week. The German began the week with a goal and two assists in a 4-3 win at #2 Palm Beach Atlantic. Schaal scored the opening goal in the 9th minute and assisted in the 23rd and 69th minutes. Schaal also added two goals to his weekly stat sheet during Barry's 6-0 win against Embry-Riddle.

It was his first career award and the first for the men this year.

The Bucs face arch-rival Lynn on Wednesday, Spet. 21 at 6:00 pm.
