MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University baseball sunk the Tritons of Eckerd College Friday afternoon, winning both games on the day on Feinbloom Field.

Game 1
- T1: The Tritons jumped out to a fist inning lead. Dimerson Nunez beat out an infield single and later scored on a failed pick off attempt. | Eckerd 1, Barry 0
- B1: Ihosvany Castaneda hit a two-out solo homer to tie the game. | Barry 1, Eckerd 1
- T2: Danny Gutcher and Peter Stavrakos walked to start the frame. The worked a double steal and Gutcher came home when the throw sail over third base. Stavrakos later scored on a ground out. | Eckerd 3, Barry 1
- T3: More defensive woes plagued the Bucs in the third. Taylor Cox singled with one out, stole second and went to third on the over throw. Michael Ballard knocked him in with a single to right. After Ballard went to third on a single, he scored on a ground out. | Eckerd 5, Barry 1
- T5: Mitch Donofrio singled to lead off the fifth. Jake Andriole doubled down the right field line to drive him in two outs later. | Eckerd 6, Barry 1
- B5: Barry finally got some offense going in the fifth. Danny Cunningham and Braden Abreu walked. Omar Baldo doubled to drive in Cunningham. Joe Stella smacked an RBI double of his own to score Abreu. Steven Torres walked to load the bases and David Vazquez drew another walk to force in Baldo. | Eckerd 6, Barry 4

- B9: Castaneda singled and stole second to lead off the inning. Stella singled to send him to third. Kevin Noriega knocked in Castaneda with a fly ball, but Payton McIntosh got Stella stealing at second and got Torrs to fly out to end the game. | Eckerd 7, Barry 5

- T1: Mikey Burke and Joe Wike singled to lead off the game and worked a double steal. Donofrio walked and Burke scored on a wild pitch. After Donofrio took second on another wild pitch, Ballard drove in both runners with a single down the left field line. | Eckerd 3, Barry 0
- B3: David Vazquez walked and stole second. He went to third on a wild pitch and scored on an RBI single by Abreu. | Eckerd 3, Barry 1
- B5: The Bucs tied the game in the fifth. Sebastian Garrido beat out an infield single and David Vazquez followed with a single through the left side to send him to third. Vazquez took second on the throw. One out later, Abreu knocked in Garrido with a hit to right. Abreu stole second and, when the Tritons' throw to third sailed high, Vazquez scored and Abreu took third. | Barry 3, Eckerd 3
- T6: The Bucs turned around and gave three runs back in the sixth. Ballard singled and Andriole followed with a double down the left field line. Gutcher reached on a error to score Ballard. NOTEWORTHY:
- The winning pitchers for Eckerd were Brendan Lawry (2-3) in game one and Curtis Perry (4-3) in game two.
- Trevor Baker (2-2) and Johnny Vazquez (0-1) took the losses for the Bucs.Â
