NOTEWORTHY:
- Whitehead continued his dominant season with seven innings of work. He allowed two runs on four hits and two walks and struck out five to improve to 7-1 on the season.
- Arrison Perez (2-4) took the loss for the Bucs. In five innings, he allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks.
- Five different Bucs each had one hit, including Cunningham's home run.
- Meehan led the Tars going 3-for-5 with three RBI.
