WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers drubbed the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish 10-6 in a non-conference baseball game at Rubin Park Tuesday night.

- T7: The Bucs crossed the plate three times in the seven, aided by four errors by the Sailfish. Ihosvany Castaneda doubled and scored on a error by the catcher Housen. - T9: Barry scored twice in the ninth on two hits and another PBA error. Noriega bounced a single up the middle and went to second on a bunt. Brandon Sanchez delivered the base knock to score Noriega and later stole third and scored on a throwing error by Housen. | Barry 10, PBA 6
NOTEWORTHY:
- Christian Lopez (1-0) worked 1.2 innnings in relief and got the win for the Buccaneers. He gave up a run on a hit and a walk and struck out one.
- Trevor Baker did not figure into the decision, but provied 2.2 scoreless innings in relief as the Bucs used five pitchers.
- Cabrera walked in one of the two runs in the eighth, but got the double to get out of the jam and then, after giving up a leadoff single in the ninth, induced another double play to help seal the win with his second save.
- Abreu and Baldo both drove in two runs, while Castaneda, Javier and Sanchez each hs two hits.
- Warren led the Sailfish at the plate with a 4-for-5 night, while Housen was 3-for-4.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs host the Barton Bulldogs in a three-game set at Feinbloom Field on Friday and Saturday.
