MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers ran their home record to 10-2 with a 69-53 win over the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish in Sunshine State Conference women's basketball action on Wednesday on Cesar Odio Court.

- 2Q - Kamryn Estell connected on a three-point play to start the second period, leaving the lead just tw points. Barry pushed it back to seven on a three pointer by Dasiah Thornton and a layup from Nerea Baena, but the 'Fish rolled off a 6-0 run to get to within one. - 4Q - Harriet Swindells hit two three-pointers in the firsr 1:12 of the fourth quarter to lead to 23 and a Trinity Bosecker jumper at 8:07 gave the Bucs their biggest lead at 24. Palm Beach Atlantic cut into the lead, getting down to 16 points on a three-point play by Sia Williams with 2:06. But Ashia Pool answered with her own -and one to make the lead 19 before Courtni Demorest banked in a long three-pointer on the Sailfish last possession. | Bucs 69, Sailfish 53
NOTEWORTHY:
- Pink led the Bucs with 13 points and six rebounds.
- Swindells aded 12 points and Thornton had 10.
- Williams led PBA with nine points, the second straight game that Barry held the opponent without a double-figure scorer.
- The Barry bench make most the difference in the game, out-scoring the Sailfish 30-19.
