TAMPA, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost 70-53 to the 14th-ranked Tampa Spartans on Saturday in the Martinez Center in Sunshine State Conference women's basketball action.

NOTEWORTHY:
	- Swindells was the only Buc in double-figures with 16 points. 
- Wright-Ponder and Aliyah Abney each hs 16 points to lead the Spartans.
- Tampa led 44-27 on the boards and out-scored the Bucs 34-10 in the paint.
