Men's Soccer Loses To Florida Tech In SSC Championship

Bucs fall 4-1 in final

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The second-seed Florida Tech Panthers defeated the top-seeded Barry Buccaneers 4-1 to win the 2022 Sunshine State Conference men's soccer tournament on Sunday afternoon at Buccaneer Field.

  • Consol and Nils Buecheler each had a save, but both let in two goals, with Consol taking the loss.
  • The Panthers earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament with the win.

The Bucs now await NCAA Tournament selections, which will be live at 6:30 pm on NCAA.com. The opening round of the tournament is set to start on Thursday, November 10 across multiple locations, while the championship game will be Saturday, December 3 at 3:00 p.m. in Seattle, WA.
