MIAMI SHORES, Fla.— The top-seeded men's soccer team hosts the #5 Sharks of Nova Southeastern on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 6:00 pm on Buccaneer Field in the semi-finals of the Sunshine State Conference tournament. The game will be streamed on the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network with live stats provided by StatBroadcast.

Barry earned the first-round bye after finishing the regular season 6-1-3 in conference play. They earned their fifth regular season conference championship in school history behind a strong season-long offensive performance headlined by First-Team All-SSC forward David Polanco. Polanco has scored eight of the Bucs' 35 goals this season. As a team, they averaged 2.5 goals per game, tied for the most per game with Florida Southern.
In addition to Polanco, midfielder Daniel Schaal and defenser Iker Berruezo made the All-Conference First Team, while defender Jordi Ramon earned a spot on the Second Team. Freshman midfielder Nicolas Villalobos was named the conference Freshman of the Year.
The Sharks earned seven points in their last three games to make the tournament field, then, pulled a minor upset, beating #4 Rollins in the quarterfinals. Nick Brisevac scored his fifth goal of the season in the 43rd minute. Goalkeeper Eduardo D'Avino turned away all three shots on goal to secure the victory. [Box Score]
For the Sharks, forward Michael Lawrence and midfielder Milo Christoforou were named to the All-SSC First Team. Defender Farid Sar-Sar made the Second Team
These two teams met at Nova Southeastern on October 12. The Bucs were able to pull out the 3-2 victory behind two goals from Polanco and one from Timo Wirth. [Box Score].
The winner will take on the winner of the Florida Tech/Tampa game in the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 6.
