SAINT LEO, Fla. -- The Buccaneers lost both games today on the road to the Saint Leo Lions, who are currently ranked the fourth best team in the country. Game one was a heart-breaker as the Bucs took a one run lead into the bottom of the seventh inning, but watched the Lions walk-off after a costly error by the Bucs to lose 3-2. Saint Leo dominated game two, ending the game in five innings with a 8-0 victory.

- B1 - Macy Barnhart followed up her first career start by making quick work of the top of the order for the Lions | SLU 0, Barry 0
- B2 - After hitting the leadoff batter for the Lions, Barnhart retired the next two. An error by the Bucs gave SLU an early lead, allowing an unearned run to score | SLU 1, Barry 0
- B4 - The Bucs' freshman starting pitcher retired seven consecutive batters heading into the fifth inning | SLU 1, Barry 0
- T5 - With two outs, Savannah Starling singled and stole second giving way to Taylor Checkley who tripled to right center and tied the game for the Bucs | SLU 1, Barry 1
- T6 - Kaylin Donovan led the inning with a base hit and later scored when Payton Germer doubled to left field and gave the Bucs their first lead of the game | Barry 2, SLU 1
- B7 - The Lions evened the game when they stole home. SLU followed that up with a walk and single to have runners on first and second with one two outs. The second error of the game for the Buccaneers was a costly one that ended the game and allowed the Lions to walk-off on the Bucs | SLU 3, Barry 2

- B4 - The Bucs kept it close through the first four innings, but couldn't put together any baserunners | SLU 3, Barry

NOTEWORTHY:
- Barnhart recorded six strikeouts in game one (season high)
- Jillian Rodriguez came in relief for the Bucs, pitching for the first time since high school.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs stay on the road, taking on another top-ten program. Barry will head to Winter Park, FL to take on the No. 6-ranked Rollins Tars on Friday, March 12th for double-header action.
